Hi there;
I had to stop developing things for a while and now I had a lot of catching up to do.
I'm stock with a cache situation for a CMS system. I know there is a lot of really good ready to use free CMS's out there but this is not the point.
I'm trying to figure out how I could cache the outpput HTML from the CMS pages since most of the pages has 3 different types of content:
1- Page layout that comes from an skin and just changes when the skin is changed
2- Text and Images - content added by the user using a HTML editor. Will change only if the user updates the page
3- Dynamic modules - modules the user can add to the page that will dynamically generate content such as RSS feeds, twitter, FaceBook, weather, news/articles and things like that.
So, can somebody share any idea or concept that you believe could be applied to this case?
The main goal here is to avoid to recreate/compile everything on every hit, which could be a prob ...
