I have a webservice that exposes a datetime in the usual way in dotnet. This translates to an xs:dateTime in wsdl.
The server is a uk server and we expect dates in gmt.
The client is sending a short date through as 2008-08-31T23:00:00.000Z.
Apparently, i am told, this represents 01-September-2008. (As england are in BST, british summer time, I am told the UTC is one hour behind.)
