The Background:
I have an asp.net page (foo.aspx). foo.aspx has some code in the code behind file that opens up and reads the data in an xml file residing within the same application folder (data.xml) data.xml is automatically uploaded and overwritten once a day from a third party source
The Problem:
It would appear that if somebody hits foo.aspx at the same time as data.xml is being uploaded 2 problems occur:

An error is thrown - The process cannot access the file '\\blah\blah\www\App_Data\data.xml' because it is being used by another process.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Data.xml get?s locked as a 0byte file and must be manually unlocked by the server administrator ...
