Component Alignment

Hello all:
I'm trying to build a website. I add components to the page and then click the "Center" alignment, which looks fine on the editor. But when I "View in Browser" the component(s) are aligned to the left. How do I fix this? (BTW: I'm using Chrome and Firefox).
