this is odd.  I have set up an SQL 2005 DB with a TimeDate column.  I put a date in (UK - dd/mm/yyyy) and to shows "18/04/2010 00:00:00"  Fine not a problem here.  When I come to format the Data in my gridView it sets the Month to "00"  all the time!

<asp:GridView ID="GridView1" runat="server" AutoGenerateColumns="False" DataKeyNames="ID" DataSourceID="ObjectDataSource1"> <Columns> <asp:BoundField DataField="SendOut" HeaderText="SendOut" SortExpression="SendOut" DataFormatString="{0:dd/mm/yy}" /> </Columns> </asp:GridView> <asp:ObjectDataSource ID="ObjectDataSource1" runat="server" InsertMethod="Insert" OldValuesParameterFormatString="original_{0}" ...

Go to the complete details ...
