Hi!
i have the date in the format '20090501' as the varchar in the database for  yyyy/mm/dd i.e. 01/05/2009 (1st may 2009)
Suppose the date firld is DELIVERY_DATE .
In the SQL query,
i have coded like this:
(CASE WHEN A.DELIVERY_DATE !='00000000' THEN CONVERT(DATETIME, A.DELIVERY_DATE) WHEN A.DELIVERY_DATE ='00000000' THEN '' ELSE CONVERT(DATETIME, A.DELIVERY_DATE) END) AS 'DELIVERY_DATE', This generates the result as :2009-05-01 00:00:00.000 Now, in the ASP.NET page, i have to display in the format (Australian format) 19/05/2009.In the reporting services, i used to do by using the property ="dd/MM/yyyy" .

Go to the complete details ...
