Any direction or assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am developing an ASP.Net 3.5 (VS 2008) web site where the main pages are content pages for different master pages.
On a page when a user clicks the Submit button, there is a delay of about 18 - 20 seconds while data is being retrieved from 2 different web services and parsed out to finally be displayed in a set of 2 gridviews. I have been looking at the numerous postings offering how to use the UpdateProgress control, and some of them are quite good and work well on a normal aspx web page. When attempting to use the sets of controls on my content page and wrapping them around my controls inside of the ContentPlaceHolder, the controls disappear.
