Weired problem with text_changed event of text box control

Hi all,

I am using a text box and a  button control in a panel on the page. I have set AutoPostBack property of the textbox to true. I m handling Text_Changed event of the text box. This event is fired when the textbox looses the focus after changing the text. Now what is happening here is if I changed the text and immediately after clicked the button then the text box looses the focus only when i clicks the button so text_changed event is fired. That's ok actually but after text_changed it doesn't fire the button's click event though it is expected. As the button is used to save the values, i cannot save the values just after changing the text . I need to click twice the button so that in first click it fires text_change and in next click it executes the save functionality. This is not expected at all.

Can anyone please help me and tell me why the button's click event is not fired if text is changed just before it.
