WebUserControl and pages.aspx

hello

i have one webusercontrol1..

a lot of pages.aspx use webusercontrol1 with panel..

there is Dropdownlist1 in webusercontrol1. and there is "Private Sub recordcount() code lines End Sub"  in pages.aspx..

Can i run recordcount() in pages.aspx ,(there are a lot of page.aspx) when i select dropdownlist1 in webusercontrol ?
