Inserting data from textbox with newline

I have a problem putting data from a textbox into Database.I want to insert newline to database but i can't. I have this code.

<%# Eval("text").ToString().Replace(Environment.NewLine,"<br />") %>
 *.cs
command.Parameters.AddWithValue("text", text.Text);
Where si the problem?
