My site was recently moved a server under the same hosting company. Since it was moved some part of our back-office system is not operating correctly due to security and authentication issues. It is important to stress out that no code changes were made and these problems caused only because of the move.
I contacted the hosting company support desk and opened a ticket but trying also to solve it myself and by-pass maybe their new server security settings.
The problem:
I am tring to use System.Net.WebRequest.Create to receive a URL of an image for the purposes of our on-line image editing mechanism. Photos can be retrieved from an existing URL or uploaded from the user's computer. Either way I will be getting an exception. In the case of uploading an image from a computer, the file will be uploaded with no problem. The only problem occurs here in the following code line:
