I have an existing asp.net application (Homepage and searchpage and ). In homepage after I select category and location when I click search button it reaches search.aspx and url is like this http://mysite/search_category_location.aspx
Now I do have another page which also has provision to select category and location and on clicking search button in that page it gets to search page like this http://mysite/search.aspx
both the cases show same results .
In first case the category and location are read from query string and based on it, the values are generated in search.aspx page
In second case the values of category and location are stored in a session and values are read from the session in search.aspx page
So if a user searches for category="mobile" & location="florida" he will be getting different urls based on the page from which he searches
like:http://mysite/search_mobile ...
