I'm about to start a project that involves allowing a customer to
create a Word template where they can add certain data fields. I'll
allow them to create the template offline in Word, then upload the file
to the web app where the data fields will be filled in, then the file
can be viewed online or downloaded. Are there any links out there
anyone could provide that will get me started? I guess another option
might be to use some web services to fill in the data fields as they
create the document in Word, but the files will still need to be
uploaded to the web for use in our web app anyway, so this may not be
the best option.
