Finding asp control from javascript

Hi,

I can find asp controls from within the script as long as they are on the page itself. If the control is inside a panel or a wizard step, it becomes undefined. I can access the control using their asp ID, but when it is within another control, I tried <%= blah.ClientID%> but same result.

How can I access the controls in these scenarios?
