Is there any way to flow static text into vertical columns?  I understand there may be ways to do this with the asp dataList control.  But what if you want to flow static text (not from a datasource) into side-by-side columns?  One obvious solution, since the text is static is to just put it in a regular HTML table (...<td>col12text</td><td>col2text</td>...)   Problem is that when you edit the static text, you have to keep contantly re-positioning the text in the two <td> tags.  It would be very handy to have it flow in evenly and automatically.

Can anyone answer these questions?

1. Is there anything built-in to asp.net to make this task easier, or another simpler way to do this (something directly in CSS/HTML)?

2. If there is no "easy way" to do this, is there any solution that could be created programmatically? Is there any code that already exists for this?
