I am relatively new to working with asp.net sites. What i need to do sounds fairly simple but i think i have a comprehension gap.
I am trying to write an application that will go to a specific site and basically "enter the form fields with the specific user name and password and then click the Login button" (by this mean supply the credentials and then trigger the event). I know that there is a hidden _EVENTVALIDATION Field, i don't know if that will effect what i am trying to accomplish.
When you enter the username and password fields and click the Login button, you are automatically redirected to a second page. This second page is where i want to get to as there are two files that i want to download from there. What i originally tried is the System.Net.WebClient object to use the method Download file.
