Authentication being weird

Hi, I am creating a web application an I want to enable windows authentication.  In my web.config file, I have this to enable to authentication:
<authentication mode="Windows" /> <roleManager enabled="true" defaultProvider="AspNetWindowsTokenRoleProvider" /> <authorization> <allow users="Domain\UserName" /> </authorization>
I have in the Page load to do a response.write(User.Identity.Name), and a Response.Write(User.Identity.IsAuthenticated.ToString()). When I test it out on my local machinge in web developer it works fine and displays the user name and says "true". When I put the web application up on the server and run it, all it says is "False". What am I misssing that is preventing my web app from actually doing the authentication? I've messed around in IIS with the authentication sutff.
