I have a web server that runs an ASP.NET 4.0 site on one machine. I have multiple SQL servers on other machines in the same subnet. All SQL Servers are in one domain. The web server is in another. The two domains do not have trust set up either way. Is there a way to configure the connection strings so that I can access the SQL Server machines with Windows Authentication (as opposed to a SQL ID)? I have an account (with an identical name) in both domains, but, not at the machine level. I recall reading you could do account mirroring between the web server and SQL Server logins, however, am unsure if that works with multiple domains.
