I have an application developed using asp.net and vb.net. This application runs on a web server and has a forms based authentication. However, of late, we have recieved requests asking us whether the application supports single sign on. This means when an user logs into the company windows network and then try to access our application, it should not ask for username, password. They should be logged in automatically. However, if they are not verified in the windows network, they should be asked to enter their username and password in our site.
Can anyone let me know if this is possible and if yes then how do we achieve this. Please note that the user once logged in will have a specific role and based on that they will perform tasks in the site.
Any help in this regard will be highly helpful for me and my team.
