ok, so maybe I have been working too long today and I'm missing something... I am in the middle of working on a project and all of a sudden I have a ddl that will not maintain state after a postback. I copied the code over to a test site but it still doesn't work! After making a selection (any selection) and clicking the button, the item that is selected is the first item that is returned from the db, my blank list item that I am adding is not even there... WTH!! Code is below...
