I'm working on a classifieds site, and posting an ad requires going through several different steps before finally publishing the ad.
For example, step 6 of posting an ad is uploading images. If a user enters that URL, how can I check if the user already filled all 5 previous steps? Since I use session variables, I can check if they're null, and work from there. But maybe there's a better option.
Even if he did go through the previous 5 steps, how can I make sure that he didn't close the browser and opened it back up on that page?
