I hope that someone can help me with this issue. In my site the Authorization cookie doesn't seam to be shared between the two "different" domains www.mydomain.com and mydomain.com.
I know it shouldn't share between domain but since that actually are the same domain I creates some problems. Particualary for users like me that usually skip the www part because I have some rolebased security applied to our files and the files can often be linked to in news and other places by the users and then they often get the explicit address http://www.mydomain.com/filedownloader.ashx?fileID=x which ofcourse causes a failure in the authentication.
It seems to me this one should be easy to fix by some cofiguration but I can't find it and haven't had any luck searching either. Is there an easy way to fix it?
If not I guess I have to set up some redirection rules.
