Hello all, I have very new to ASP.net and programming in general so please pardon my ignorance. This question might have been answered else where but I can't seem to find any answers, so I decided to post my question.
Alright so here is my issue, we have an application that offers an authentication Web Service and this is through a java application. I have added it as a service reference to the asp.net application and that worked fine. Now where i'm stuck, and this is where my inexperience come into play, I don't know what to do with it from there. I basically want to have a login page where the user enters their username and password, send the username and password to the Web Service, the service returns a boolean value and from their either allow access to the site or not.
