Will this structure be secure?

Hello, friends,

Our website was hacked, and we believed the hacker retrieved our data files and database in the web server.

To prevent this happen again, we want to restructure our web site like the follows:

Having two machines,

(1) Use machine A as the web server, which hosts web pages (.aspx) ONLY;

(2) Use machine B as the data server, which contains data files and database;

(3) Both machine A & B belong to the same local network;

(4) All data file directories and database files in B are NOT shared

(5) Create web services in B;

(6) For any request for data files and/or database records, .aspx in A will call web service in B using anonymous access, B will get data file and/or query the database, return results to A;

We are hoping that when hacker hack our web site next time, only A has problem, but B will be safe.
