How to send query string with 2 parameters?

Hi all,

I need to send 2 string variable by query string, I currently use the follwoing codes:

dim a as string="tom"

dim b as string="cruise"

response.redirect("page1.aspx?name=" &a &",surname=" &b)

however when I do a request.params("name") and request.params("surname") in page1.aspx, I got:

name="tom,surname=cruise" and

surname=nothing

 How should I modify the query string to get name=tom and surname=cruise in page1.aspx?
