Object reference not set to an instance of an object. asp.net 3.5 web sites and consuming a wcf webservice errors.

Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I am doing a very basic call of web service in asp.net 3.5 web sites and consuming a webs river. It works in debug mode from visual studio 2008. But when I deploy on the web server it through object reference not.
 This is very basic and very stupid.
Can some one tell me what is wrong and why is it crashing the moment I access the method in the web service.
The web service is up and running.
I get return values all time.

Visual studio 2008.
.net 3.5 and web service
