I have this bit if code in my aspx program:
<tr>
<td align="center" style="font-size: 1px;">
<asp:Image ID="imgSMGShimBlack1" runat="server" Height="1" Width="150" AlternateText="" />
</td>
</tr>
In the code behind, I assign the name of the image. The HTML that gets generated is below:
<tr>
<td align="center" style="font-size:1px;">
<img src="/net/site/images/main/black.gif" style="height: 1px; width: 150px; border-width: 0px;" alt="">
</td>
</tr>
For some reason, the <img tag in the generated HTML has a ">" enging tag, not a "/>" tag which shows up as an HTML error.
I like to keep my HTML clean. Is there a work around for this? I'm on VS2005
