Different of "~/" in .net 2.0 and 3.5

halo all,
my project is developed in asp.net 2.0 and all of the paths of links is using "~/", such as "~/images". Everything is working fine util I convert it to .net 3.5
The error is occur:
'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\images\1.jpg'  is invalid path. Of couse, my path should be 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\myweb\images\1.jpg'
That's mean I need to change all of "~/" to "../"??
