I need the advise regarding the excel upload process and validation for mandatory filed in excel.
Condition
1. I need to upload excel file in sql server 2008 using asp.net 2.0
Soln I am using SqlBulkCopy to upload the data in sql i Created dump table and upload the data in that dump table using SQLBulkCopy
2. Total Coloumn in excel is 53 User said 15 Fileds are mandatory so whenever upload process going to be happen it must check the mandatory filed even in some fileds are Countrey -> State-> City relationship wise means one coloumn depends on ther other even user enter the textfiled like India in Country Coloumn but the condition is save the records as numeric value of India means i want to check whether the India name exist in Master or not if yes then find the value and insert in Database.
