I'm beginner in ASP.net and VB. I really need a few pointers from others. I need to make a website for my work lately and I can't find anything online that can give me some leads on how to create the website.
This website is a reset password website. Users can go to this web page and type in their Username and ID number. Then, a default password would be assign to their account which reside in Active Directory.
So far, I found pieces of information here and there. However, the information is too little for me to get a broad picture on the whole thing. I know I can either use membership class from ASP.net 2.0 or hard code with system.directoryservices to access AD. Since this website is not supposed to be a form authentication, the login control and all those nice features from Microsoft that can simplify the program were out of questions.
