Completely new to asp.net and visual studio 2008 etc. now I have some form of idea of what's going on because i have developed websites with dreamweaver etc. but server side includes have never been an area I've really digged in, but now I have been trying my heart out to get this page right. been through so many ups and down with trying to develop it, to cut a long story short here is my prob.
I have developed an asp.net page with form validation, all works well up until this point. my problem is that when i call the ajax calendar extender to select a date, form validation occurs instantly, which is not what I want. I only want validation done at the point of hitting the submit button.
When I input text into my ther textbox's validation does not occur. Only when I select a date from the calendar. I've tried CausesValidation="False" on the texbox but that did not help.
