I have a page where I am dynamically creating some labels and textboxes based off results in a ds. It creates 4 labels and a textbox for each result. For each one I set the text value. I have dropdown list that posts back and changes the database query.
The labels are working fine. And the update to the database works fine. However when I make a new selection from the ddl however many textboxes were in the the first result are somehow keeping the original values. All of the labels are working correctly. And if I change the values in the textbox and submit then it updates the db correctly. If there are more results in the second query than the first then it adds the new textboxes with the corrrect values.
Now if I change the textbox to a label it works fine. It's just when it's set as a textbox?
When I change the ddl and it posts back isn't it creating entirely new textboxes? I don't understand how these values are staying the same?
