I like to create a online profile for users. Here's what I'm looking to do. Let's say User A enter his profile in. Two days later, he wanted to modify is profile. He logs in and modify his profile. The profile does not actually updated yet until it has been approved by the administrator. In the mean time his old profile is still showing online. So my question is, how do I implement this where the database will keep track of the old version and a modified version? Do I just have two tables or fields (one for old and one for modify)? Now, once it is approved, do I then delete the modified version since it has been approved? How do other sites handle this?
