Combine Active Directory Membership Provider with the default Role Provider

Hello,
I want to authentificate my user in a ASP.NET app with windows logon against my AD with the ADMembershipProvider, but I want to make use of the ASP.NET role provider modell and want to assign AD users to ASP.NET roles (Use of the default AD roles should be avoided in my app)
Is that possible? Do you have an idea how to do that or other solutions?
