IE is not validating Regualr expression for password(urgent)

i am using following regular expression to validate password in my web application.

^(?=.*\d)(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z]).{8,10}$ 

In this expression, Password must be 8 characters, including one number and one capital letter and not more than 10 characters

 this expression is working fine for safari and firefox, but it is not validation in Internet Explorer 7.

please tell me anybody how to resolve this issue. i want to validate it in client side not on sever sider.

please i need urgent.
