It is my understanding that I should somehow encrypt the web.config file so that my sql database connection string, username and password cannot be seen. Does anyone know how to do this?
Also, should I be concerned with having a username and password in my code-behind? Is it possible to encrypt that as well? Please remember that I am using GoDaddy for my web hosting and VB language.
