I have two drop down boxes, When adding a new record, the user makes a selection in the first drop down box and the selected index change event fires and the second drop down is populated with a list of values based on what was selected in the first drop down box.
Now I am allowing the user to edit a record.
I am pulling data from the database and populating the page based on values from the database.
The first drop down box is working correctly, the selected value is the value that was saved in the database.
The secon drop down is not populating at all because the selected index is not firing and filling the options in the drop down and choosing the selected value based on what is saved on the record.
How can I get this to work properly??? Is there a way to make the selected index change event fire??
