Scenario:
I have an assembly(c#) MyCompany.Security with a CustomerMembershipProvider
and it's used in a asp.net 3.5 project and all works fine.I can use it in a Windows Form too and works fine.
Now we are trying to push this a bit beyond.
We have some vb6 apps and we would like to use to interop with it.
vb6 Application --> MyCompanySecurity.Interop --> MyCompany.Security
When I make the call from vb6 the user is null.Stepping through I have noticed that the override Initialize
never gets called,as if i am missing some sort of hook.
I have tried this from c#WindowsForm app and it all works but from vb6 i can step into the .net code
but when hitting GetUser the CustomerMemembershipProvider.Initialize never gets called.
Has anybody got any ideas suggestion.
Should I make it a CustomMembershipProvider webservice?
