I have deployed my ASP.NET web application on a web host. My application is somewhat like mail box and allowes users to attach file to their messages and send them to each other. Since the web space I use is limited, I would like to save the attached file on another server. ( a server to which I have local access and I can modify administrative rights and priviledges as I wish ) By the way I can not deploy my application on the second server for some reasons. I wonder if there is some way to create files and folders on a remote server (in compare with the server containing the application). something like using this method: System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(...) But this method works on local paths.
would anyone give me a hint?
