End the session

 

I have simple link for the logout. I want to update the logout status and the terminate the session of user after he logged out from the page.

Function to reset the logout status: updateLogoutStatus(). I have written this function in a separate class.

This is how I create the session in the Login Page

Dim strEmpId As String = txtEmpId.Text.Trim
Session("strempid") = strEmpId

So, I intend to call the reset function and end the user session in the code behind file

How can I do this with a link? Can I write it on the code behind ?
