trouble adding new page to website

I copies an existing page from the website then I renamed it then I changed the following line of code,
<asp:Content ID="Content1" ContentPlaceHolderID="TitleContent" runat="server">
 Friends
Note "Friends" is the only changes I made to this line above because I was renaming the new page "Friends.aspx" Then I uploaded this new page to the hosting site and put it in the same folder as the original page.
then I inserted a link on one of the other existing web pages and when I click the link It returns an error.
"The resource can not be found" "HTTP404"
How do I correct this situation?
