I have read this link many times..
Check here: http://wiki.asp.net/page.aspx/655/caching-in-aspnet/
Just wanna get a overall strategy for my site soughted out..to avoid the same SQL process running too many times in the same short period

1) Data Cache where all possible: Data Cache datatables for grids, Strings

2) Activate Datasource cache for SQLDatasource for gridviews
3) Output cache for pages that are frequently used and not updated frequently.

Q1: If using output cache or datasource cache and the underlining data changes does the cache data clear or is the new data delayed until the cache expires?
Q2: When is not wise to use outputcache, I see this used a lot but duration is set for 60 seconds only, should every page/control be cached
Q2: What are optimal settings for the webconfig for this (from link) :
<caching>
