Hello everyone. I am new to web development. I have experience as a database programmer and I have a little experience in windows applications using VB.net and C#.
I recently bought a couple of books that has got me hooked on wanting to move into web development. I bought an ASP.NET book and Silverlight 3 book.
I was wondering everyone's recommendations for what I should begin to study if i want to make more advanced web sites. Should I learn javascript, css, etc? I know there are a lot of different technologies available, but I want to concentrate on a few at first and was wondering which most would consider the "core" of web development.
I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, please move if so.
Thanks! Jason
