I downloaded the Altaris Web Security providers and was wondering what people thought of it compared to the standard ASP.Net Membership providers that come built in to .Net, the standard ones are just fine by me I'm using them and I think they are great. But I heard good things about the Altaris providers and saw that there are more improved versions of that one as well, but at some point I have to just pick a format and just implement something without feeling I'm missing out on what the next greatest thing offers. So I wanted to ask others who know better and have tried both versions if there's a compelling reason to switch over to the Altaris versions or even the later versions built on that one - if there's some real advantage over the standard membership providers. The reason I ask is that I'm about to dive real deep in to Membership so I can add Live ID and Open ID functionality to my sites and wanted to have the best Membership foundation to work ...
