I have installed SQL Server Express 2012 on 64-bit Windows Server 2008 Standard. I installed the minimum components initially to their default locations. Having done so, I would now like to make sure that the bulk of the data will be saved to another location on another drive, such as:
\VBOXSVR\SQLServerDB\W2K8_db1
I could not use this same location during the installation procedure because it kept failing, and I ended up having to put the initial program installation files, as I stated, in their default locations on the C: drive. Now that it appears to have installed correctly and is functional, I was hoping to find some instructions for making sure that the rest of the data (i.e., the payload) will get saved to the drive location show above as it gets generated.
Can someone point out a link for such instructions? Thanks.
