How come my inputbox doesnt reach client side?

hi to everyone


i have an input box which i use for password input, but the input box doesn't popup on the client side when the event fires, instead the inputbox pops out in the server machine. Here's my code for the inputbox



Password = InputBox("Please Input your Password", "Password Input")
the event fired is when a linkbutton i clicked
