Hi,
I'm new to ASP.NET and am starting to build an ASP.NET MVC3 site that requires our customers log in. I'm currently running a site with two databases - one for the forms authentication and one for the business application. So far I've only managed to get members and roles into the remote database by updating my local db and publishing it.
My requirements are:
Forms authentication so I can use attributes on my controller actions to authenticate, get current user, etc. Sign up a customer as a new user with a customer role, either as they register or by admins adding them in via a control panel Manage users and their roles via a web interface as part of the business application Login via email/password (not username) Could someone point me to example applications, tutorials and articles that discuss these requirements using MVC3 please? Basically managing forms authentication users and roles via code/MVC3. ...
