I have used javascipt to open a new popup window and it works fine, however on certain machines the new window is not brought to the foreground (ie not the active window). It appears in the taskbar and can be brought to the foreground manually, yet this is unacceptable as it must be brought to the foreground in all circumstances.
I haven't done a very thorough investigation but it seems to be fairly random. IE7 seems to be fine, as does IE5, but on IE6 the problem intermittently appears. Is there any means to ensure that the new popup is always brought to the foreground.
