Apart from code, what do I need to send email from ASP.Net ?
I guess I need to setup in IIS virtual STMP Virtual directory - yes or no ?
Is it a must to have external ISP's STMP server IP Address typed into Smart host, or actually there are ways to create our own - yes or no ?
Any free SMTP Server we can download or install ? Since I just need to send out emails without need to receive and organise email any light weight and free SMTP server out there ?
Sorry these may seems so basic but I really need to know.
