I have a img tag (http://localhost/MyDirectory/images/image1.gif) in a web page, which is called over https.
<img src="http://localhost/MyDirectory/images/image1.gif" />
When I?m trying to execute this page in IE8 browser, I?m getting following warning mesaage.
"Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?"
It looks like the IE 8 is restricting the access to a http when the parent was called over https. I can try to avoid this warning message by doing "Display mixed content? to Enable.
But my requirement is to avoid this warning message using some javascript code (XDomainRequest or something else). I tried using XDomainRequest but I am getting 'access denied' exception.
